TUMHC Under 21s Update

TUMHC Tasmanian Under 21 representatives Ben Read and James Dick continue to perform well for their state in the Australian Under 21 Men’s Championships in Melbourne. Reado has moved up from State Under 18s and played every game for the Under 21s while Dicky has played all but one game and scored against ACT in the final pool game. Follow Reado and Dicky’s charge through the tournament here.

TUMHC Keeper Hamish McGregor Makes International Debut

TUMHC keeper Hamish “Hammer” McGregor won his first international cap for New Zealand after debuting in the Black Sticks’ Four Nations Tournament match against Japan on 14 July 2010. Hammer moved to New Zealand over the summer to pursue Diploma in Marine Studies, but has managed to get back for two games with the TUMHC A Grade side this year while on breaks.

You can read all about Hammer’s rapid rise to the Black Sticks squad in his interview in the Bay of Plenty Times and follow his progress at the Four Nations Tournament.

TUMHC congratulates Hammer on his selection and wishes him all the best for his future international career, unless he’s playing the Kookaburras of course!
