Subs for 2009 have now been set and are as follows:

Please note that these rates assume that the $50 early payment discount for payments made prior to 22 July 2009 has been received. For amounts paid after 22 July 2009 please add $50 to the above amounts.
The preferred method of payment is by direct debit (using internet banking) to the Club's bank account, the details of which are:

If you make payment by direct debit, make sure you enter your name in the "details" section (the part that will appear on the Club's bank statement). Do not make over the counter deposits at bank branches as we have no way of tracing these deposits.

Due to the reconstruction of THC1, some grades are playing less games than last year. Where this is the case, subs for that grade have been reduced to reflect the reduction in turf hire expense associated with the reduced number of games. However, a 25 per cent reduction (for example) in the number of games played in 2009 compared to 2008 does not result in a 25 per cent reduction in subs. This is because almost half of the club’s costs (such as Hockey Tasmania membership, insurance, coaching payments and equipment purchases) remain fixed regardless of the number of games played.
Women
Sub for the 2009 season are as follows:

U/14 and U/12: | $170 |
Full subs are payable when a player plays more than half the season (e.g. if there are 14 games, plays 7 or more games). If a player plays less than half the season, subs are $15 per game + $15 for insurance. This season any player who takes the field will be required to pay subs. If a player is unable to complete the season and has played more than half the season they can apply to the Committee for a reduction in subs and this will be assessed by the Committee on a case by case basis.
Where a player is playing U/Age and A or B Pool Subs payable are the U/Age Subs. Where a player is named in a B Pool side but benches for A Pool Sub payable are B Pool subs.

Please include your name and team with any payments.
Cash payments and over the counter deposits will not be accepted unless arranged directly with the Treasurer (Bec O’Halloran). This is because payments in this form are difficult to trace to an individual player.
An initial instalment of $50 for U/Age players and $100 for senior players was due by the completion of the 4th roster game.
The remaining payment is due by 30 June 2009. Payment by instalments is encouraged.
